Good News For Two Good Causes

A couple of impressive fundraising achievements by Potts Print (UK) staff to mention this morning. The grand total of donations for Kevin Brown’s recent Great North Run was £1093.75, and Trevor Currie’s raffle and coffee morning has raised £1000 for Daft as a Brush!

Daft as a Brush Cancer Patient Care offers staffed custom-made vehicles to transport outpatients who are undergoing Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy cancer treatment, free of charge, to and from Hospital.

The charity was founded by Brian Burnie after the sale of his family home, Doxford Hall in Northumberland, which you can read about on the Daft as a Brush website. Brian was at the coffee morning on Sunday to show his support.

Kevin’s chosen charity was British Heart Foundation, which Potts also had a fundraising day for this year, and including Gift Aid his original target of £600 has been almost doubled.
