Congratulations to our pals at STAND, who last night picked up their Football Supporters’ Federation award for Fanzine of the Year. Having been involved with this publication since the legendary Issue One, we at Potts Print (UK) are over the moon to hear of the win.
With some strong competition from club-specific fanzines including MUFCs’ United We Stand, SAFC’s A Love Supreme and NUFC’s True Faith, STAND has come out on top. Focusing on the wider issues affecting the modern game, the fanzine has attracted a loyal following and sparked the ‘Against Modern Football’ movement, more recently being renamed ‘Stand For Football’ to reflect the positive nature of the cause.
Issue Six is currently doing the rounds, and it’s available to order from the Distant Echo webstore.
